The art of decorating fabric or other materials with a needle and thread to create designs. This form of decorative stitching is done by machines for precision.

A technique that transfers ink onto a surface through a mesh screen using a squeegee, with areas of the screen blocked by a stencil to create a brand or design.

A process that uses inkjet technology to apply a full-color design. Ideal for small batches with detail because it requires no screens and has low setup costs.

A process where designs are printed onto a special film and then transferred to fabric with a heat press. Best for complex, full-color logos.

A type of apparel decoration that applies a design with a raised, dimensional effect using heat and pressure. Durable alternative to traditional prints.

DTF stands for Direct-to-film printing and is a heat-transfer based printing process. The design is first printed onto a transfer film (not to be confused with inkjet film).
Direct-to-film printing is a fast process, which allows screen printers to produce film positives quickly, saving time and increasing productivity but does not hold up from a washability standpoint that a typical screen-printed shirt does.
